We’ve all seen the building, heard the music erupt from inside, and seen these students walk around carrying instruments of various shapes and sizes. But have you taken the time to learn more about these students who spend their days inside that building and dedicate their lives and education to their art form?
On Tuesday, Feb. 23, Campus Recreational hosted a bingo night for students where the winners could take home Walmart gift cards.
Everyone loves Chick-fil-A. The food is delicious and the service is quick and worry free. Most importantly though, the people are incredible. Come meet a few of the workers who serve you.
Every Thursday at 1:30 p.m., students can hear music blaring from the Student Life Suit where the recreational staff is waiting to hand out treats to encourage NGU students.
On Saturday, Feb. 13, students had the chance to participate during the speed dating event organized by the campus recreational staff.
“When I first got here I heard ‘it’s only four years, you can just get someone to hold the door for you.’” Myers said.
Myers added that it’s also difficult for her to fit her chair through doorways, navigate the cafeteria, visit other dorms that have stairs in front of them and use transportation.
She said that she appreciates North Greenville University’s disability services department and their willingness to help, but there are some ways the university can be more accessible.
This semester, many students on North Greenville’s campus are quarantining as a result of testing positive for COVID-19. Here, we see many different leisure activities that those in quarantine may be spending their time doing!
On Thursday, Oct. 1 2020, the city of Travelers Rest put on its first Harvest Market and Food Truck Rally of the month. Every Thursday in October from 5:30-8:00 p.m., there will be live music, farmers and food trucks at Trailblazer Park.
