“When I first got here I heard ‘it’s only four years, you can just get someone to hold the door for you.’” Myers said.
Myers added that it’s also difficult for her to fit her chair through doorways, navigate the cafeteria, visit other dorms that have stairs in front of them and use transportation.
She said that she appreciates North Greenville University’s disability services department and their willingness to help, but there are some ways the university can be more accessible.

Ice to see you: The Greenville Swamp Rabbits are coming back
The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, a member of the minor hockey ECHL league, has announced their intentions for beginning the 2020-21 season. Thirteen of the league’s 26 teams, including the Swamp Rabbits, will begin play on December 11.
New cybersecurity major
NGU is excited to announce that cybersecurity will become a major in furthering its information technology related courses and will accompany its computer science minor in the fall of 2021.
