The Glide instrument takes advantage of six accelerometers, three in each hand. These accelerometers allow the user to use hand motions to create vibrato, pitch changes, volume, and play notes. The coding was done by Mr. Groover with some collaboration from a friend. The goal is to produce the Glide in a sellable form. They are available for preorder on the Glide’s website.
Parris Bridge New EP Release, “Dreams”
Scott Beardsley and his band Parris Bridge just dropped a new EP entitled “Dreams.” The inspiration for this EP and the individual songs come from a lot of different places and some involve some heavy topics. This EP marks a new place for the band who had previously released a single entitled “Ghost Stories.”
NGU Crusaders vs. Bob Jones Bruins Basketball Re-cap
The North Greenville University Crusaders defeated the Bob Jones Bruins 72-64 on Saturday. This puts North Greenville at five wins this season. Far from being a shutout, the Bruins almost gave the Crusaders a run for their money. This was the second game in seventeen hours for the Bruins who had just come from a win against Trinity Baptist College.

The NGU Theatre Department has done it again. The recent opening of Sophocles’ play “Antigone” at the Billingsley Theater has already created quite a stir.

Released on September 14th Harold Cronk’s dramatic film , “Unbroken: Path to Redemption” has begun creating a stir among movie goers. According to movie goer, Coleen Souther, “… Your heart will break and your heart will soar. This is beautiful true story!” Adapted from the original Laura Hillebrand book, Harold Cronk’s “Path to Redemption” picks up where Angelina Jolie’s “Unbroken” left off.
