At Least One. Local band spotlight

On Wednesday, October 2nd, the local band �At Least One� played a show in Downtown Greenville. At 8 P.M., the stage at Coffee Underground coffee shop (normally used for Alchemy Comedy Show), was covered in musical instruments and equipment and the audience full of people. At Least One had a five song set, all ranging from song covers to performing originals. Two other bands, The KNGS and Wallaby Lane, also performed along side At Least One. Opinion: What is music oppression?

Music is a universal language. That being said, some languages are not as appreciated as others.Most people have specific music preferences but can appreciate the commonly loved genres. For some reason, some music genres and artists seem to be shamed and attacked without question by almost everyone. There seem to be a few genres that people feel the same way about around the North Greenville campus.

Scott Beardsley and his band Parris Bridge just dropped a new EP entitled �Dreams.� The inspiration for this EP and the individual songs come from a lot of different places and some involve some heavy topics. This EP marks a new place for the band who had previously released a single entitled �Ghost Stories.�
