“My younger brother has autism and epilepsy and I didn’t have time to be a quote on quote regular teenager. I think that was just God’s way of teaching me things early on in life,” Justin opens up.
Sam Helms is a junior at North Greenville University and is a biology major; Helms was born in a Monroe, N.C.
“I always have tried to be an expert in the less ordinary. I enjoy doing things that not many people can do. I can ride a unicycle, I’m a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, I enjoy doing random things like skydiving. Any experience I can have that is sort of unique in its nature I like to do it,” said Shorter.
Amanda Smoak is from Greer, S.C. and has lived there all her life. She works as a chef in the Stud at North Greenville University.
Despite the odds Kyle Packard finds the time to explore the world and immerse himself in voyages.
“I’ve been watching Disney since I was a little kid,” Conley said.
“My favorite thing about myself is that I can draw” Sidnee responds deftly when posed questions about herself.
