On Feb. 24, students from North Greenville University’s mass communication department travelled to the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tenn. for the annual National Religious Broadcasters convention.

Students from NGU help volunteer for the convention by filling conventions like registration and facilities. It’s not all work and no play though. Students have time to explore the resort and network with exhibitors that could give them an internship in the future.

Students are excited to be a part of the next NRB convention in 2019, that will be held in Anaheim, California.

After volunteer shifts, students were able to explore the huge resort. The Gaylord Opryland has several stores and restaurants, as well as an indoor garden with over 50,000 plants.

Students were also able to attend the expo, where several exhibitors set up booths showcasing their business and brand. There were several giveaways to enter and souvenirs to grab from each booth.
