For many of us in this generation, the concept of living a “private life” with social media is a foreign concept. 

If we are what we share on social media, then we must share Christ. Social media is a great outlet for Christians to speak our faith because we know what we post is reaching others. Social media platforms are providing exciting and efficient ways to share Christ. God has given us this tool to further His kingdom and to live boldly.

There’s something special when you’re scrolling on Instagram and see one of your favorite celebrities tweet a simple Bible verse or give thanks to the Lord for their God-given success.

Here are a few celebrities who live boldly to glorify Christ on social media:

1) Sadie Robertson

Sadie Robertson is an actress, writer and role model who has written books such as “Living Fearless”, “Live Original” and “Life Just Got Real.” Fun fact: She placed second in Season 19 of “Dancing With The Stars.”

2) Tim Tebow

It’s no secret that Tim Tebow gives glory to God with every success of his. Tebow is the author of the book called “Shaken” and also hosts annual “Night to Shine” events which allow kids with special needs to enjoy a prom night experience that they will truly never forget. Whether he is the quarterback for the Denver Broncos or a baseball player for the Columbia Fireflies, Tebow lives out his faith radically.

3) Anthem Lights

4) Reba McEntire

Singer/songwriter Reba McEntire posted and tweeted this on all her social media platforms when Reverend Billy Graham passed away last month. Last year, McEntire put out her first gospel album in four decades of making music called “Sing it Now: Songs of Faith & Hope.” The album ranges from traditional hymns to R&B flare. 

5) Candace Cameron Bure

Full House star and famous author Candace Cameron Bure doesn’t shy away from speaking the name of Jesus daily on all of her media platforms. Her Instagram is filled with daily verse motivation, impactful words, fashion tips and health and wellness tips. She speaks about finding beauty in the simplest things in life in her posts as well. 

Bure’s brother,  Kirk Cameron, speaks about his relationship with Christ on social media as well. From starring in “Growing Pains” to “Fireproof”, Cameron and his family love to speak the gospel- no matter the occasion.
