Some goalkeepers are saying Lionel Messi is the best soccer player as of now. Messi singlehandedly beat teams by scoring multiple goals in one match. Goalies around the league are convinced that Messi is a special player. Cristiano Ronaldo is right behind him in goals made and Ronaldo is the man that defeated his team last year. So, the competition is tough but soccer needs the exposure.

The NBA is getting the most airtime with the playoffs. The NBA’s most exciting time is playoffs. The first 82 games are just regular season games to determine the placement for playoffs. The playoff teams, along with the standings for the western conference, are Golden State Warriors (1), San Antonio Spurs (2), Houston Rockets (3), Los Angeles Clippers (4), Utah Jazz (5), Oklahoma City Thunder (6), Memphis Grizzlies (7) and The Portland Trailblazers (8). For the eastern conference The Boston Celtics (1), Cleveland Cavaliers (2), Toronto Raptors (3), Washington Wizards (4), Atlanta Hawks (5), The Milwaukee Bucks (6), The Indiana Pacers (7) and the Chicago Bulls (8). The top seed plays the last seed.

Most Crusaders have their conference tournaments this weekend but it is a more special time for the track and field teams. After some athletes earned great awards from great performances, the track team is looking to perform at high levels this weekend at Southern Wesleyan University. The NGU track team has set high standards for the conference, from the sprints to long distance, this should be a very competitive conference track meet.
