The attractions of downtown Greer

20 minutes off campus lies the charming town of Greer. The lamplit main street is lined with shops of all sorts, from coffee shops to antique stores. In the center of the town, Greer City Park is a popular gathering spot for families and friends. Greer is the perfect spot for grabbing lunch with friends or for students to get work done at a coffee shop.

The main street in downtown Greer is a popular gathering spot for friends and family to grab food and coffee.

Throughout the quiet streets, there are many beautiful spots to sit and enjoy the town.

One of the many shops here is Aged Attire, a vintage resale store selling everything from sweaters to hats. It is also a great spot to sell or trade in clothing.

One of the most popular coffee shops in town, Barista Alley, attracts many visitors due to its central location at the top of the street, along with its fun drinks and crepes.

Along the main street, you can find a couple of antique and vintage stores. Plunder Antiques is one of them. This shop is full of a wide variety of antiques, from furniture and dishware to clothes. This store also holds a small record shop in the back.

The second coffee shop located in Greer is Flying Fox Coffee. This shop has lots of cozy seating, books, and themed seasonal drinks.

Across the street from the main street is Greer City Park. This park is a popular gathering place due to its playgrounds, grassy fields and ponds.

Greer City Hall is located in the park surrounded by fields and parking.
