The notorious Taylor Swift Eras Tour has finished the first leg of the US tour; so here comes the movie.

The movie was released October 13 and broke the internet as the movie was sold out in most theatres opening weekend.

The high demand for movie tickets was expected since the process of getting tickets to the actual tour was hard. The movie is for those who didn’t get to experience the highly anticipated concert; and for those who were fortunate enough to go, to relive the night.

The movie encapsuled the concert, going through time with Swift’s fans through the seventeen years of music produced by Swift. Era by era, performing each album at a time, walking through her career her most famous songs is something so magical, every Swiftie should experience.

The concert itself was a little over three hours long. The movie was two hours and 45 minutes. The difference in time were a few songs being left out and most of the transitions between eras.

The only difference was in the movie, the camera was so up close to her and you could see every detail of the dancers, sets, and Taylor’s quirks in a clearer light for a more personal experience.

As the movie ended and as the credits came across the screen, there were clips of backstage footage as Swift and her team were rehearsing for the shows. There were also clips of her little mishaps and funny mistakes that happened throughout the tour. The purpose of these videos are to make the tour more personal and show how fun her tour was.

The most personal contribution to the clips were the fan clips that were sent in. These videos were of her fans, showcasing their fun outfits, signs and all the friendship bracelets. This was to encapsulate the fun, high energy the fans brought to the concert, this makes you feel as if you were there watching them.

Swift is no stranger to making movies out of her tours and endeavors. She made a similar movie out of her Reputation tour and after that becoming an amazing success, she figured her fans would enjoy this for the Eras tour, since she hasn’t toured since the Reputation Tour (due to Covid). Which is a total of four albums that haven’t yet been performed, until the Eras tour.

The way the movie only came out two months after the end of her tour is astonishing. The tour was recorded during her last stop, Los Angeles, California. This was her last city to perform in and this took place in August. That leaves only two months roughly to put together this admired movie filled with memories of the concert and hard work.

No wonder Swift is so successful, she spoils her fans with what feels like every month with new announcements, albums, movies, etc.
