On Saturday April 1, 2023, we published an article about a possible change of the North Greenville University school mascot. Through additional reporting, there have been a few minor issues discovered. University officials confirmed Monday that the process is only in what has been termed “stage one” of discussion and feedback. No final decision on any changes has been made. As NGU Vision Media, we are here to serve the community. Since this article doesn’t do that, we as a staff have removed the article. When something official is released, we will report on this topic.
