From a biology class to the courtroom: Are you ready to “Reap The Whirlwind?”

The North Greenville theatre department showcased a professor written show titled “Reap The Whirlwind.” The show ran for one weekend only from Feb. 9, 2023 to Feb. 11, 2023. Director Web Drake took the artistic direction to have a stage reading of his show. In the pictures below, see how the story progresses and a glimpse of what a stage reading actually looks like.

The stage is set, but only with chairs, stools and blocks for the cast to sit while not reading their script.
Josh Gasdia plays “Hal Brody”, the son and Caleb Wright plays “Jon Brody”, the father.
Isabelle Western plays “Rae Brown”, the superintendent, as she and Wright perform a scene.
Keely Lyons plays “Carrie Chisolm”, the girlfriend of Hal, as she and Gasdia “kiss” stage reading style.
Dylan Thompson as “Brett Katts” in a scene with Western and Wright. They discuss the possibility of a court trial.
