Professor Michael Weaver recognized for Veteran’s Day

Micheal Weaver is a music professor and strings conductor for the NGU orchestra. For Veteran’s Day, we recognized him as a former Marine. It wasn’t until he flunked out of college when Weaver served in the Marines for 10 years, five years as a military police officer and five years in counterintelligence. Weaver said when he realized it was the 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and the 20th anniversary of 9/11, he decided to put on a concert to commemorate the lost lives and veterans. Veterans came to the concert from all branches as they were honored through song. Weaver is proud to say that he served his country and serves NGU.
