A fairly good time at NGU’s fall festival

On Oct. 21, NGU held its first fall festival in two years after COVID-19 kept the rides away in 2020. At this event, students were able to fellowship through various rides and entertainment, such as a mirror maze, swings, a bungee jump, an escape room and spinning teacups. There were also s’mores, funnel cakes and boiled peanuts.

Seniors Autum Skutska, Addison Maralit and Briley Arnold fellowship by enjoying s’mores by the campfire. On a cold fall night, this was a way to cozy up.
One large aspect of this night was the gift of community. Amidst the rides, students were able to gather together and catch up in a new and fun environment.

One of the most popular rides at the fair, the swings, allowed for students to feel free from the stress of midterms.
Junior Nikolai Garrison and prospective student Will Shaw, friends from home, were fable to catch up on life through waiting in line for the swings.
Sophomore Graham Ford and Graduate Assistant Leilani Mullinax work the mirror maze.
Seniors Caroline Helms, Victora Murphy, Trent Long, Rylee Jones, Erin Boukather and Matthew Latska are enjoying their last fall semester on campus by attending the fair as friends together.
