Need summer plans? Consider camp

Every year, North Greenville University hosts a camp fair, where every local camp brings a few staff members and sets up a table for the purpose of recruiting college students to hire. This year, the camp fair was in Hayes Gymnasium and a large amount of students came to look to see what opportunities are right at their fingertips for summer 2022.

Camp Caraway representatives set up a table at the camp fair. They offered students not only ramen noodles, but also an opportunity for a summer job working with youth students. Who can beat that combination?

The camp fair wasn’t just informative, but it was fun. Multiple camp representatives were caught doing the cotton eye joe together.

Familiar NGU faces, including grad assistant Nicole Pollard and outreach staff member Joshua Gilmore, give a thumbs up for the students who are finding summer plans through this event.

The camp fair has grown so much that this year, it was supposed to be on the Stud field instead of in Todd Dining Hall. Yet, despite rain, the school found room for the multitude of camps in Hayes Gymnasium.

Camp representative from Camp Tekoa speaks with students from NGU about the opportunities to serve there next summer.

Grad Assistant Connor Graves and junior Joey Noyes hang out with a representative from Student Life Camps, where they both have worked in the past. If interested about working with this organization, make sure to reach out to these familiar faces.

Senior Bryce Faulkenberry is a familiar NGU face at the Camp Awanita table. Camp Awanita, located less than ten miles from campus, is looking for students to work this coming summer.
