Here’s a guide to the top phones in the market

Today, it is virtually impossible to walk 10 steps without seeing someone on their smartphone.
This new era of phones can be good in terms of accomplishing work, but negative when it comes to not connecting face-to-face with other humans. Even though society is constantly evolving with benefits in technology, there are some negative components that cell phones companies still pump out new phones every year or two. With so much new technology, it can get overwhelming keeping up with all the latest specs.
Currently, the market is run by four major cell phones: The new iPhone XR, the Samsung Galaxy S9, LG Q9 and the Huawei Nova Lite 3. Here’s a quick guide to help you find the right phone for you.
iPhone XR
The iPhone XR is the newest iPhone out there. This phone takes up the same full phone screen, which is the same 6.1 inches as the iPhone X, but implements a new liquid retina HD display. The camera also has a buff. By upgrading to a 12MP wide-angle camera one can be sure to capture wider shots and get everyone in the picture.
The iPhone can shoot in 720p all the way to 4k videos at 60 frames per second. Facial recognition is also a new piece of technology in this phone that adds another layer of protection. It can also allow for using Apple Pay in stores. Battery life is also not a joke, because the XR can last up to 1.5 hours longer than the previous generation of iPhones.
Samsung Galaxy s9
The next type of phone is the Samsung Galaxy s9. Unlike the iPhone, this phone runs on the Android operating system and it comes with the 8.0 version of this software. For someone who likes smaller screens, this is the perfect phone because the screen runs at about 5.8 inches. The s9 is also protected under a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is perfect for the average clumsy consumer.
Samsung has the same wide-angle camera that the iPhone has, but the video quality does not go as high as 4k. Still, this phone can crush 1080p and 720p at 240 frames in one second or more.
One major thing the s9 has that the iPhone does not have is a 3.5 audio jack. This is a great thing to have for people who do not want Bluetooth headphones. The s9 did not last as long as the iPhone when it comes to battery life but is close and a great option.
LG Q9
Next, we have the LG Q9. This phone has not been released yet, but is coming out in the very near future. The Q9 has the same screen size as the iPhone at 6.1 inches from corner to corner. This phone runs off of the Android software, just like the s9, but in the base model, it comes with the 8.1 version which is higher than the s9.
The camera is the only place that this phone really does not shine. For starters, it only shoots the higher qualities 30 frames less than the s9 and can only take 1080p videos at 30 frames also. Audio jacks make a reappearance with the Q9, which is a major selling factor for many users.
Huawei Nova Lite 3
Last up we have the Huawei Nova Lite 3. This is a new phone to come on the market and is the biggest yet at 6.3 inches. This phone has similar camera specs as the s9, but the s9 has faster videos at 1080p and 720p. Once again this phone has an audio jack which leaves the iPhone to be alone with no jack. This phone is very similar in all aspects to the s9 except for a slightly larger screen.
If searching for quality in recording videos or taking pictures, then look no farther than the iPhone. Now let’s talk about price. Coming in at the most expensive is the iPhone at $749.00. Then next up in line would be the s9 at about $550.00. After, the s9 we have a tie for the Nova Lite and Q9 at a price of $450.00.
