Recipes for Nutella Day
Feb. 5 is Nutella Day, and what better way to celebrate than to make some yummy snacks? Here I’ve listed a few recipes that you can make in your dorm with just a few ingredients.
Nutella Hot Chocolate
It’s as simple as microwaving milk and mixing in a tablespoon of Nutella. If it doesn’t mix all of the way, then you may want to heat it back up.
Indoor S’mores
You just need graham crackers, Nutella, and marshmallows. Place the marshmallows in a single layer on the other 4 crackers. Place this on a microwave safe plate and let it go for about 10 seconds. If it’s not gooey, let it go for another 5 seconds or until it is gooey. Remove the plate from the oven and immediately place the Nutella cracker on top of the marshmallow cracker.
Chocolate Hazelnut Fruit-Pizza
You need a wheat tortilla, Nutella, and fruit of your choice (that you can slice). Just spread the tortilla with Nutella, arrange the fruits on top, slice in wedges, and eat.
Nutella Toast.
Exactly what it sounds like. Nutella and toast of your choice of bread.
Folded Hazelnut Cookies
Buy some soft cookies from the bakery area of any grocery store, break the cookie in half, and between the halves, put a dab of Nutella in between.
Nutella-Stuffed Strawberries
Get some fresh strawberries, cut the leaf part off, spoon the inside out (or cut the center out from the top), then fill the center of them with Nutella. You could even spread the bottom of the strawberry (the pointy tip) with Nutella then roll it around in coconut shavings.
Peanut Butter Nutella Banana Burrito
Buy either pita bread or any other wheat tortila, spread it with Nutella, slice fresh bananas in thin slices, then roll it up. You cna either eat it without cutting the tortilla up or slice them into little sushi rolls.
