Do you like having extra money in your pocket? Do you like having money to spend at Cook Out or maybe Chick-fil-A? Listed below are five ways that you can optimize your Amazon savings. Keep reading to find out how being a student on Amazon can benefit you.

  1. If your delivery is late, you can qualify for a free month of Prime.

The policy is called Guaranteed Accelerated Delivery, and it promises delivery by the stated date. If your item is delivered after the guaranteed arrival date, then Amazon will provide you with a free month of an Amazon Prime membership.

  2. Amazon Prime is shareable between two people.

You can share your Prime benefits with one other person of your choosing. These benefits include free shipping, access to Prime Video, early access to lightning deals, Prime Photos and Kindle Owners’ Lending Library.

  3. Check the authenticity of reviews by using Fakespot.

If you’re thinking of ordering something, but you’re not sure if the reviews are real, Fakespot is where you wanna be. All you have to do is run the Amazon link through and the site will show you a grade of the quality and authenticity of the product’s reviews.

  4. Using your student email address gets six months of free Prime and half off a full membership with Prime Student.

Once you’ve verified that you’re a student, you’ll get six months free, then become eligible for discounted Prime for up to four years. After the first six months you’ll be charged $49 instead of the standard cost of $99.

  5. Find textbooks for way cheaper by looking at Amazon’s websites in other countries.

Amazon’s main website is a great place to buy college textbooks, but what you might not know is that Amazon’s websites in other countries like France usually have the books you need for cheaper. You can make it even easier by using the Cheap River website to quickly compare book costs between countries.
