Loaves & Fishes

Do you have a passion for decreasing hunger around your community? Loaves & Fishes is a non-profit organization located in Greenville, SC who helps feed the hungry. They help out the community by taking wasted food to different rescue routes in order to distribute it to those in need throughout Greenville County. Their goal is to reduce hunger and ensure no food goes to waste. I spoke with the Developmental Manager, Breean O’Neil to find out more information.

Soteria Community Development Corporation

Do you love to serve others and want to contribute to the overall good of your community? Soteria Community Development Corporation provides jobs, shelter, training and support for those whose lives have been impacted by crime.

They push for a healthy lifestyle and give these people hope for their future. Jerry Blassingame, the Executive Director of Soteria Community Development Corporation, has a passion for “assisting individuals who have been incarcerated through reentry and helping them to become productive citizens.”
