The North Greenville men’s lacrosse team just wrapped up a competitive match against a tough conference competitor, Mt. Olive Trojans. The Crusaders lost to them 8-5, sending their record to 6-7. The Crusaders no longer sit at (.500), as the team is currently (.462). However, hope is not lost for this squad.

The Crusaders are (2-2) in conference play and have two more conference games remaining to cap off the regular-season. The team looks to finish strong as it goes against Belmont Abbey College on Wednesday and Chowan University this weekend; both on the road.

North Greenville’s Ethan Landreth leads the Crusader squad with 26 goals on the season, followed by Chris Carpenter with 23 and Austin Dixon with a respectable 18. The team is backed by a talented bunch of seniors like Zach Randolph, Dawson Long and Hunter Burget. Others look to make a last minute push as the conference tournament approaches.

The Crusaders are currently fourth in the conference standings.
