Meet Taylor Lee: Actress, Singer, and Freshman at NGU
Gabrielle Fanelli, Associate Writer
Taylor Lee was born and raised in Spartanburg, S.C., not too far from North Greenville University. She is a fan of french fries and is seeking to be more like her biggest role model, her mom. When making the decision on where to attend college this fall, Taylor says, I wanted to go somewhere that I could further my education and grow in my walk with Christ and NGU is the place.
Her top two hobbies include acting and singing. Being a theater major makes sense for this young talent, as she landed a role in Clint Eastwoods newest film, Sully. When asked how she worked her way to such an accomplishment, Taylor says, It’s been my dream forever and now God is allowing me to pursue them. She had the opportunity to work along side Tom Hanks and Laura Linney, playing the role of Sullys daughter.
Taylor gives some inspiration to those pursuing a role in big productions by saying, It’s not impossible. Do as much as you can to allow your resume to grow and submit it to casting directors.
Besides scoring a role in a Hollywood film, Taylor has released five singles that can be found on ITunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, and Pandora.
Her newest single, “Reality” was inspired because, We face a lot of pressure at this age and it’s so nice to get away from reality with your friends and just ride with the top down listening to your favorite songs.
You can support your fellow NGU student by watchingSully Friday, September 9 at your local theater.
