Monday night’s debate between businessman-turned-politician, Donald Trump and his formidable opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, drew an audience of roughly 84 million viewers, according to USA Today, while sparking much debate as to matters of policy and presidential decorum.
With his #sweep of the latest #SuperTuesday primaries, Donald Trump has taken a big step towards becoming the party’s eventual first ballot nominee. With multiple primaries on the near horizon, Trump looks to clinch a first ballot birth before the party goes to its Cleveland convention this Summer.
Donald Trump conducted his speech at the California Republican Convention after being escorted into the building. Trump addressed the protesters, and told the audience that it felt like he had crossed the border.
“I’m going to have to see how I was treated. It’s very simple.”
“If you live by the pen, you die by the pen and my pen has an eraser,” Cruz said last Friday at North Greenville University.
“It makes for a good election to have someone like that in the running to draw interest and to get people interested in the entire election process as a whole.”
