Senior Athlete Farewell: The Last Inning for Wheeler Smith
At NGU, Smith stepped right in as a freshman and eventually became the starting catcher. This season, which was set to be Smith’s final season as a Crusader, he suffered a lower back injury that caused him to be sidelined the remainder of the 2016 season.

Before joining the staff, I felt out of place at school — a feeling of disjointedness and a longing to be apart of something. When I found The Vision, I found my niche. I found people who shared in my passion and later became some of my closet friends.
