NGU Baseball faced up against Palm Beach Atlantic University on February 26. After being tied up until the bottom of the eighth, the Crusaders scored six more points bring the final score to 10-4.

NGU Men’s baseball faced against the University of Mount Olive on April 6, 2018 at 2 in the afternoon. Despite the threat of weather, the Crusaders came through victorious as they finished the game 7-3.
Senior Athlete Farewell: The Last Inning for Wheeler Smith
At NGU, Smith stepped right in as a freshman and eventually became the starting catcher. This season, which was set to be Smith’s final season as a Crusader, he suffered a lower back injury that caused him to be sidelined the remainder of the 2016 season.
