The Korean Demilitarized Zone is a byproduct of the 1953 Armistice Agreement for the Restoration of the South Korean State, in which a buffer zone (the DMZ) divides the neighboring countries of North and South Korea, in an attempt to establish peace, order, and a clearly defined border between the warring nations.
Although “sanctuary cities” is a term understood by some, there are many who simply do not get what is meant by the increasingly popular phrase. Before we can adequately understand what all being a sanctuary city entails, we must first understand what a sanctuary city is.
While terrorists arguably converge upon American property through various means and methods of transportation, there is an outstanding history of violence from those that board airplanes, i.e., the attacks on 9/11. Amidst continued attacks worldwide and on American citizens specifically, including the Boston bombings, the attack on Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, etc. etc., it is crucial that the Trump administration address the very real national security concerns these undocumented immigrants and refugees pose.
