This past weekend, a group of students from BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry) Impact Teams headed to Flat Rock, NC, to serve the youth of a church there. The team led the students in worship, discipleship/small groups, games, and so much more. Over the course of the weekend, the students learned about the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15.
This past Thursday night after BCM, North Greenville University had yet another coffeehouse. Every month, the school opens up the mic for any student who wants to sing, play an instrument, or perform a spoken word (etc). This night’s coffeehouse was special because not only was it outside during intramural game time, but it also was the same night as North Greenville’s overnight weekend. How beautiful is it that our prospective students got to be a part of such an important family event here at NGU?

On Thursday, September 12th, the chapter of Baptist Collegiate Ministries at North Greenville University held their weekly worship service at 7 P.M. The BCM band lead worship and Joshua Gilmore brought in a guest speaker, Chad Stillwell who is the South Carolina Baptist Convention BCM director, to speak to the congregation about living with fear. After the service, students were able to fellowship and talk about service opportunities as well as enjoy free popsicles provided by the BCM team.
On April 4, the Duke of Poland spoke at BCM. At the time it seemed slightly out of the blue. This was a monumental occasion and it begs a certain question. How in the world did this happen?
