�One of the customs that the culture had was at funerals they would let the bodies sit out for several days, rotting and deteriorating, yet they would still l kiss the persons face. We were required by the village to kiss the face of the person to abide by their customs,� said Biggers.
When home isn’t a place for the holidays
“What has been normal for eighteen years is what you assume has been normal for everyone until you step out of that. Then you have that gradual descent back into home and realize there is an unhealthy situation.”

“I always have tried to be an expert in the less ordinary. I enjoy doing things that not many people can do. I can ride a unicycle, I’m a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, I enjoy doing random things like skydiving. Any experience I can have that is sort of unique in its nature I like to do it,” said Shorter.
