Here are all the materials needed to transform thrifted vases into modern fall decor. All of these supplies can be acquired for less than $10.
To start, combine paint and baking soda in a small dish. There are no strict measurements for this step. Winging it will do the trick.
Use a brush to add the paint and baking soda mixture onto the glass vase. Here’s a helpful tip: try moving the brush horizontally around the vase to create a texture similar to that of a ceramic vase.
Experiment with different color combinations. Mix brown and orange together to create earthy, terracotta-like shades. These warm tones are perfect for fall decorations.
You can also experiment with different combinations of baking soda and paint. Add more baking soda to the paint to create a thick paste. This will give the vase a rough, antique texture.
If you’re too anxious to wait for the vases to dry, a hair dryer will do the trick. Dry and add more paint until your masterpiece is satisfactory.

For an extra touch of fall, add your favorite neutral-colored flowers or plants.
