A treasure hunt awaits Vision Magazine readers this week

With the release of the fall 2018 edition of The Vision Magazine happening this week, on Jan. 17, The Vision staff of North Greenville University has devised a fun activity to promote and engage readers.
The theme of this edition of The Vision Magazine is “Treasures,” so the staff has created a scavenger hunt with a $50 gift card prize.
So, how does one win this grand treasure? Vision Magazine Editor-in-Chief Hannah Hurst explained the scavenger hunt for us and these are the instructions:
1. All of the clues are located inside of the magazine.
2. The clues are an anagram, and can be worked out on a special page in the magazine titled “Vision Quest.”
3. After a student unscrambles the letters, they will be directed to a special person on campus.
4. This student will then be directed to the grand prize, or should we say treasure?
Hurst goes on to explain that “the ‘Vision Quest’ will begin as soon as the magazines are places in their stands.”
The Vision will be placed in the lobby of Todd Dining Hall, the lobby of Donnan Administration Building and the lobby of Hester Memorial Library.
The scavenger hunt is a group effort in terms of The Vision Media, so “students [will] have to pick up a copy of the magazine, listen to the radio[The Vibe], read an online article from the website[The Vision Online] and watch a video clip before they have everything they need to find the prize,” explained Hurst.
Hurst has expressed that “the purpose of the game is to increase the number of students that will pick up a copy of the magazine.
The Vision Magazine staff has worked all semester to create the fall 2018 edition of their magazine, and as stated by Hurst, it “includes diverse articles, ranging from scuba diving to the stock market.”
