Kicking Cancer Goodbye

Many North Greenville students spent their weekend on campus for the Kicking Cancer Goodbye Flag Football Event. The event, which was held on Saturday, October 22, included flag football, food, live music and a balloon service. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness for cancer.

Tylasia Amaya Dobson found safe

Tylasia Amaya Dobson, a 13-year-old resident of Taylors, S.C., was found safe on Sunday, October 23 at 8 p.m. after having been missing since 3:15 that same day.

Apple to release new Macbook Pros

According to Ming-Chi Kuo of IGU, Apple is set to release a 13-inch Macbook, a 13-inch Macbook Pro, and a 15-inch Macbook Pro, all of which will come with a touch ID feature and an improved display and processor. The new Macbooks and Macbook Pros will be released in 2017.

Clinton ahead in national polls

In ABC News’ newest poll, Hillary Clinton is currently nine points ahead of her Republican rival, Donald Trump. About 50 percent of voters nationwide sided with Clinton in the same poll.

Time Warner bought out

Time Warner, the parent company of other companies such as Warner Brothers and CNN, is being bought out by AT&T. AT&T agreed to pay $85 billion for the company.

France Clears “the Jungle”

“The Jungle,” a refugee camp in France, is currently being disassembled by the French government after many refugees attempted to illegally cross into Britain. Refugees who were living in the camp are being brought back to France. Two thousand refugees have already left the Jungle, leaving between 5,000 and 6,000 to be brought back.
