Serving up intramural sand volleyball playoffs
Riley Belle Kinard, Visual Arts Editor
Another semester of sand volleyball is coming to an end. Intramurals is always something students look forward to getting involved with at the beginning of each semester. It is a great way for friends to take a break from studying, hang out and play sports.
Sand volleyball games take place outside of the cafeteria on Monday and Tuesday evenings. You are always welcomed with the sound of friends cheering on their favorite teams and a popular playlist shuffling through the speakers.
Kason Atkinson, sophomore youth ministry major, serves the ball over the net to start the set off.
Sebastian Seigler, sophomore Spanish major, centers his attention on the ball before serving it over the net.
The green team is ready to take on their opposing team in the final round of playoffs. They are decked out in their different shades of green.
The pink team circles up to practice on the side sand court before their game.

Two teams start playoffs fighting to win in hopes that they make it to the championship rounds later in the week.
Community is a great aspect of being a part of sand volleyball. Friends gather around on the court before their game to build each other up.
At the end of each game, both teams gather together to pray before they leave.
