Meet the Staff

C.J. Eldridge

Hey, whoever’s reading this. My name is C.J. Eldridge, and I’m a senior studying digital media here at NGU. Born and raised in the Blue Ridge area, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow up. I’m the Vision Media’s editor in chief, and I feel so blessed to be working this position; throughout my time with Vision, getting to learn new things through interviews and going to events is the cherry on top of doing what I love—which is writing. Fun fact: I’ve been writing fiction for seven years now. I published my first book three years ago and am currently working on a new one. When I’m not at school, you can find me pumping iron at Gold’s Gym, kickboxing, and indulging in the greatest reality show that ever existed, also known as American politics.

Trinity Adams

My name is Trinity Adams and I am the News and Features editor for the NGU Vision Media. I am a senior Journalism major and I love having the opportunity to share stories of locals and issues that concern them. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and I am the youngest in a blended family of five. Right now I am in my grandma era and enjoy a good night at home in bed either reading, crocheting or watching a 2000s romantic comedy. To quote Bratz, “ I have a passion for fashion,” and I think most stress can be solved by a retail therapy trip or really good food. I’m scared of squirrels so if you see me running on campus assume I saw a squirrel. I’m excited to be in the position of news and Feature editor this year and I hope to serve the community well.

Riley Belle Kinard

Hi, I’m Riley Belle Kinard, and I am from the small town of Lyman, South Carolina. I am currently a sophomore at North Greenville University as a digital media major with a minor in public relations. I am so excited that I get to be a part of the Vision staff this year as the visual arts editor. I enjoy taking pictures and getting to capture memories throughout our time at NGU. If you see me around, I’m probably drinking coffee, hanging out with friends, and enjoying getting to be apart of a campus as special as NGU. I am excited to see how the Lord is going to use my gifts to tell your stories through photos and digital creations.

Kelsey Watson

Hi, friends. My name is Kelsey Watson, and I am a junior digital media major with a concentration in journalism at North Greenville University. I am originally from a small town called Lancaster, South Carolina. This is my second year working for The Vision Media, and this year I have the privilege of serving as the Sports Editor. I am so excited to share the fun stories of NGU and shine the Lord’s light through them. I am so happy to see what He can do through this staff this semester and the semesters to come. When I am not doing schoolwork, I am watching any sport, hanging out with my friends and probably drinking an iced coffee. I am ready to get to work sharing these stories with everyone.    

Caroline McNeely

Hi, friends. My name is Caroline McNeely, and I am a senior digital media journalism major at North Greenville University. I am originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. This year I have the privilege to oversee the Vision NGU’s social media as the social media manager. I am excited about what God can do through the stories we will tell through The Vision, and my hope is that it inspires our readers all the same. There is something about taking a seemingly mundane story and enhancing the inspiration and beauty that was already there. The thing I love most about that is God does that for my own life story and takes the mundane and turns it into something beautiful. Aside from writing, photography and social media, I love spending quality time with people in my life and discovering hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, restaurants or small towns.

Jesús Arce

My name is Jesús Arce, and I’m from Venezuela. I’m currently pursuing a degree in broadcasting journalism, driven by the belief that journalism is more than just reporting the news, it’s about giving a voice to those who are often silenced. I’ve always been passionate about storytelling and its ability to shape perspectives, spark change, and bridge gaps between communities. Through journalism, I aim to highlight the struggles, triumphs, and experiences that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Erica Fernandez

Hi! I’m Erica Fernandez, a senior at North Greenville University. Originally from Miami, FL, I spent a decade in Los Angeles, CA, and now call Hendersonville, NC, my home. This year, I’m excited to join the NGU Vision team as a staff photographer. As a digital media major with a concentration in film, I’ve been passionate about photography for about 10 years. I love capturing moments that tell compelling stories, and I can’t wait to highlight the vibrant NGU community through my lens.

Beyond photography, I enjoy creating films that document my travels and adventures, often featuring my dog, River. I’m looking forward to being part of the Vision team and growing in this role.

Colby Craig

My name is Colby Craig, and I’m a senior interdisciplinary studies major with a focus in english and communication. I am from the edge of Landrum, South Carolina. I’m excited to say that this is my first year as a news and features staff writer of The Vision. I hope to be able to inform students, alumni, and staff alike with exciting and important news each week. I have three dogs whom I love very much: Mabel, Andi, and Rigby. I spend my time reading, writing, playing video games with my friends, watching good movies, watching hilariously bad movies, and wood burning art. My dream is to one day be a fiction author and bring glory to God through the art of storytelling. I’m very excited to be a part of this awesome opportunity this semester, and I’ll do my very best to entertain readers of The Vision.

Treasure Hardwick

Hello, friends! My name is Treasure Hardwick, and I am a sophomore digital media major here at North Greenville University. I am from a small island in Charleston called Johns Island. This is my second year on staff for The Vision, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a talented team. I have always loved taking seemingly mundane stories and showing that there is beauty in the detail. I believe that everyone has countless stories of God’s work in their lives. I strive to bring these stories to light, which is why I love journalism. After graduation, I want to do journalism for global missions to bring awareness to all that God is doing overseas. Aside from writing, I am also the biggest coffee fan. You can always find me at a coffee shop with an iced vanilla latte doing homework. I also love the beach and all things coastal. I am so excited to see all that God does this semester on The Vision, and I can’t wait to tell your stories.

Carolyn Christopher

My name is Carolyn Christopher, and I am a third semester senior communication major at NGU. This is my first semester on The Vision. I am grateful for this opportunity to share powerful stories and learn new things. I have a strong passion for writing and am eager to expand my skills in the journalism landscape. One of the things I strive for in my life is to affect people. I desire to make a positive change in people by making them think and feel deeply. I believe I can achieve this best with the written word, which is one of the many reasons I love to write. The most compelling stories are often those of real people. As much as I adore a good fantasy, it is the trials, tribulations, and successes of real people that make the most fantastic stories. I am eager to find and share those powerful stories right here at NGU.

Karyn Campbell

I love working with the talented photographers, writers and graphic designers on the Vision staff as I watch them develop their skills and gifts.  It is wonderful to see them grow as creators through the work they produce for The Vision.  In fact, the Vision staff have consistently garnered awards for their work through both state and national organizations and I can’t wait to see how they are recognized this year.
