It’s fair season: NGU fair night

This much fun shouldn’t be fair. North Greenville University’s (NGU) campus life holds a fair for students to enjoy this fall season on Oct. 19, 2023.
The stud field lights up with glowing vibrant colors from four different ride options: a ferris wheel, swings, “round up” and “the sizzler.” Students stand in long, winding lines to participate in the fun and laughs.
Callie Gray, junior education major, enjoys a funnel cake with her two overnighters. Overnighters are high school students who come to experience life as an NGU student.
Abby Matson, junior English major and student leadership member (SLT), serves students by making and boxing popcorn to add to the fair festivities.
Team members from the girls’ and guys’ soccer teams enjoy the fair night as they eagerly wait for the “round up” ride of a lifetime.
Andrew Layne, junior interdisciplinary studies major, and Hunley Kinard, sophomore business major, goof around at the fair. Nearby, friends stand by the bonfires making s’mores.
Madelyn Peluso (front left), Claira Hall, Mia Hefner and Katie Beth Bostic, sophomores, enjoy the fair with Jason Galvalda, Kaelum Armstrong and Nate Thomas, freshman. Friends gather to enjoy the perfect fall weather, food and fun.
Bailey Davidson, sophomore Christian studies major, Cecelia Sundell, junior interdisciplinary studies major, Mia Harper, junior interdisciplinary studies major, show an overnighter around the fair as they share about NGU.
