1. “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them”
Release Date: November 18
Starring Eddie Redmayne as the wizard, Newt Scamander, this new movie written by J.K. Rowling is based in the world of Harry Potter. It follows the author of the wizard text book of the same name as he travels to America to find new mythical beasts.
2. “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”
Release Date: September 30
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is based on the novel by Ransom Riggs. This story about a group of children with different peculiarities is directed by Tim Burton and promises to be visually exciting and an interesting story.
3. “Deepwater Horizon”
Release Date: September 30
This film follows the plot of those trapped on the oil rig, Deepwater Horizon, after a catastrophic failure. Based on the true story of the fatal event in April 2010, this is sure to be a suspense-filled story, full of bravery and hope.
4. “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”
Release Date: December 16
Rogue One is set to kick off the new Star Wars Anthology series and will give the viewers a more in-depth look at the team who stole the original Death Star plans from “Star Wars Episode IV.” This film sees the return of characters such as Mon Montha, the leader of the rebel alliance, and Darth Vader.
5. “Storks”

Storks really do deliver babies, along with other packages ordered online, in this animated world. When an unauthorized baby girl is created in the baby factory, it is up to one delivery stork, Junior (Andy Samberg), and his human friend, Tulip (Katie Crown), to deliver the baby before their boss discovers the mistake.
6. “The Magnificent Seven”

This remake of the 1960 film by the same name is reminiscent of the westerns that were popular in the ’50s and ‘60s. It comes complete with a greedy industrialist as the antagonist and seven cowboy-like gunmen as the heroes.
7. “Max Steel”

Based on the toy line and cartoon of the same name, “Max Steel” is the story of 16-year-old Max McGrath and his extraterrestrial friend, Steel. The pair joins together to become a superhero and fight against an alien threat.
8. “Doctor Strange”

“Doctor Strange” is the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When Stephen Strange, a promising yet arrogant young surgeon, suffers a terrible accident and loses his ability to perform surgeries, he turns to a powerful being known only as the Ancient One for help.
