North Greenville University’s Young Americans for Freedom placed over 2,000 flags on the student field this past Thursday through Sunday. The flags honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Rhett Wilson, Young Americans for Freedom leader, headed up to this event.

The students started by placing individual lines of flags.

Trace Hogge, a senior at NGU, is focused on the task at hand. He is a committed member of Young Americans for Freedom.

Senior Preston Pierce was very encouraged by the intentionality of his organization’s members for doing this event.

Even in the heat, the members of Young Americans for Freedom steadily worked at putting out flags.

All of the flags placed on the field represent a life that was lost in 9/11.

Senior John Barham and freshman Cyrus Stratton are also working on putting out flags to honor lives lost in 9/11.

Junior Douglas Westbrook watches a fellow Young Americans for Freedom member works alongside him on placing flags. This was a tedious process, but the students did not waver in their efforts.
