Thursday, March 5, North Greenville University held its weekly gathering of Fount, a worship and bible study event. This week, Jon Ross Fordree, Student Ministries Coordinator, highlighted passages in Ephesians 4 and talked about the importance of Christians being of one body, at peace and united. The band also led students in worship songs, like “Only a Holy God” and ” Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me.” Students from NGU who worked at Connect Camps also spoke to the students about the benefits of working for the camp.

Students gather in the chapel on campus every Thursday for an encouraging message and a fun time to fellowship with other students.

Campus band starts off the night by leading everyone in singing the worship song “Only a Holy God.”

Connect Camps represetitive Jason Rosier highlights the experiences that camp workers get to be a part of, from helping local churches to visiting fun local attractions.

Brooke Arends, senior business management major, leads the gathering in singing “O Come To The Altar”.

Students listen while the verses of the evening are read from Ephesians 4, before the message begins.

Fordree gives the message for the evening on unity and faith, and closes his teaching with the appeal: “Tonight, my final charge is that we, those faithful attenders of BCM, might be known as this. Despite differences of race, gender, upbringing, and theological preferences, in the non-salvific things, we might be known as charitable. We might be known as patient, gentle, humble, and lovingly bearing with one another, the rest of campus, and the world in which Christ has us.”

Makayla King, freshman intercultural studies major, closes out the evening by leading the crowd in the song, “Build My Life.”

Josiah Thomas, junior worship studies major, joins King in leading the final song of the night.
