Get’cha head in the game: Intramural basketball
Riley Belle Kinard, Visual Arts Editor
Multiple teams dominate the court as basketball intramural games kick off the spring semester. We might be all in this together, but we can’t all be the next Troy Bolton of NGU intramurals.

Ashlyn Miller, junior general studies major, and Connor Kincaid, junior sports management major, work together to pass the ball down the court.

Andrew Layne, senior interdisciplinary major, sprints down the court to try and take the ball back from the opposing team.

Teams stand under the net, rebounding the ball, hoping that they can get the ball in the hoop before making it down to the other side of the court.

Tyshone Phelps, junior health science major, jumps up for a slam dunk into the hoop.

Both teams anxiously wait to see if they will make the free throw shot, hoping to tie up the scores in the last half.

Teams “Que the Music” and “Big Baller Brand” go head-to-head in the final seconds of their first game.

Best friends Kathryn Murray, sophomore physical education major, and Kaylee Cortez, freshman early childhood major, pose for a picture as they wait for the last two minutes of the game to start.
