Although North Greenville is in the small town of Tigerville, there is much to do around here. You may find yourself wondering what to do when you have free time or when planning your weekend plans. Here are ways some students love to spend their weekends.

Hannah Powell, freshman Christian studies major, describes her ideal evening as going to downtown Greenville with a fun group of friends. She likes going to Up on the Roof to eat, shopping and going to Main Event.

Ella Guthrie, freshman youth ministry major, would spend her time going to Day Drinkers coffee shop to catch up with friends, do her quiet time and enjoy good coffee.

Noah Baker, freshman music worship studies major, enjoys going to sporting events such as football and basketball games on the weekend.

Do you love to drink coffee and play pickleball? Logan Sowers, junior Christian studies major said, “Find community that stays on campus, go to The Village Grind coffee shop downtown Greenville and do homework. Then, go to Otter Creek to play pickleball.”

Michael McKinley, freshman criminal justice major, recommended going hiking at Jones Gap State Park in Marietta.

If you are wanting to be creative and put your Clue skills to the test with friends, Grace Herron, freshman early childhood major, enjoys going to Escape Artist (escape room) downtown Greenville.

Megan Morton, freshman early childhood major, likes to go walking on The Swamp Rabbit Trail with her mom in Travelers Rest.

Grace Fuller, junior music education major, recommends taking a hike at the Art Loeb Trail in Brevard and getting coffee when you finish.

Going to Cookout and grabbing dinner on the way to watch the sunset at Bald Rock is one of Catelyn Caughman’s, junior music education major, favorite things to do.

Beebe Griner, sophomore music performance major, enjoys spending an evening in downtown Greenville. She loves getting a bagel from Sully’s Steamer’s and grabbing a cookie from Insomnia for dessert. While she is there, she would recommend seeing a performance at the Peace Center. NGU students get a ticket discount with their student ID.
