Friday, October 18, North Greenville University held its annual semi-formal homecoming dance in the cafeteria. Students dressed their best and showed up to take on the dance floor with friends and fellow students. NGU also surprised everyone with the reveal of the new mascot, “Blazer.”
Students were provided with foam light up sticks at the door to add some fun to the music while dancing.
Friends gather together on the dance floor and stop for a picture after getting some party refreshments.

Nariah Hunt, freshman biology and chemistry major, has a fun time dancing alongside her friends.
Hunt said, “I had an amazing time going with all the people I loved. I can’t wait to make more genuine memories that last a lifetime.”
Line dances such as “The Wobble” are always a favorite at dances and celebrations.
Friends Jaclyn Skinner and Aubrey Merryman, sophomore accounting major, enjoy some of their favorite childhood refreshments such as Kool-Aid Jammers and Fruit Roll-Ups.
Natalie Cannon, sophomore intercultural studies major said, “I loved the community aspect of the dance and seeing everyone dressed up. I enjoyed getting to catch up with friends that I don’t get to see often.”
