The upstate of South Carolina suffered several fallen trees and water damage due to Hurricane Helene. People are working to clean up and rebuild in many areas.
People are astounded by the devastation, with born-and-bred South Carolinians claiming they have never seen destruction by a storm this bad. Several have claimed that the devastation of Hurricane Hugo in 1989 did not reach the severity of Hurricane Helene.
