Bringing the petting zoo to NGU

Riley Belle Kinard, Visual Arts Editor

On Thursday, September 12, the Zuber Petting Zoo came to the Stud Field at NGU for Treat Yourself Thursday. Students were able to come see and pet animals such as pigs, chickens, alpaca and more.

Jenna Lyda, sophomore psychology major, pets Liberty the alpaca.

Students from all over campus gather around the petting zoo to take many pictures and to love on the animals.

Riley Dale, junior sports management major, and Keagan Yarboro, junior Christian studies major, pet the piglets.

Isabella Ortiz, sophomore health science major, happily meets the two goats from Zuber Petting Zoo.

Popcorn, the miniature zebu, rests as new friends like Joshua Kilgore, Christian ministry major, come by and pet her.

Students, like Ethan Sterling, senior management major, Kayla Harris, senior marketing major and Kyrsten Wallace, junior marketing major, come by on their breaks to visit all kinds of animals, especially the piglets.

Smiles all around for students like Sarah Dixon, junior interdisciplinary major, as the animals provide a sense of relief at the end of the school week.

Students and faculty come out to the field to see what the cuteness is all about.
