Campus marketing and communications team find a new home

If you drive along North Tigerville Road, you will find North Greenville University’s marketing and communications departments.
The building they are housed in is the former home of Einstein Bros. Bagels on the corner.
The renovated space allows the marketing and communication team to be together in a collaborative environment, according to Chad Peters, North Greenville University’s vice president for enrollment and marketing.
The Office of University Marketing supports North Greenville University by managing all branding, marketing and creative services for the university, according to the University’s website.
The move to the former Einstein building “helped free up space for the advancement to move out of the Donnan building as part of the construction project,” said Peters.
The space is now the permanent home of the marketing and communications team at least for the time being. As of now, these departments will not move to the administration building once its complete.
“They will stay in their current location,” said Peters.
The large space they’re in once housed a TD Bank in addition to Einstein’s Bros. Bagels. At this point, the marketing and communications team is using all the space at the location and there aren’t any plans to expand further.
The brick building is right next to the Studio at ‘Ole 414.
The office of university marketing and the PrintHub administrative office is located in the same building, the Eddie Runion Creative Arts Center.
Students around North Greenville University’s campus say they are glad to see the building being put to good use.
“I remember when I was younger, I’ve lived in the area for a long time, seeing Einstein’s and ever since it closed…I wasn’t sure what was going to be there,” said Lacy Stuber, freshman.
Lacy says she is glad to see that the space is being used.
“At least they are using the space and it isn’t vacant, at one point I thought it wouldn’t be used again” said Stuber.
