Weird things happen all the time in our daily lives, whether that is in our life or someone else’s, and it almost always ends up online. Here are five weird news stories that have happened over the past month, according to United Press International’s website.

In Spartanburg, South Carolina, a trailer carrying clothing dye got into a car crash. Therefore, all the dye splattered onto the road blocking all of the traffic from entering Interstate 85. This type of event doesn’t happen often, especially clothing dye being splattered all over an interstate blocking traffic. Therefore, making it into weird news.

Two events were based off bears who eat delicious sweets, but in totally different states, as if these bears were connected somehow. One bear in California went into a home and ate a freshly baked cake. Apparently, the bear looked through their fridge, searching for more items to eat.

In Connecticut, a large bear crashed a two-year-old’s birthday party, eating all the cupcakes. The residents had to lock themselves inside, protecting themselves from potential harm. These events were a bit dangerous, but still unusual considering the typical news we see daily.

Recently, a lady by the name of Rachael Marie won the Guinness record for bringing the most dogs to a movie theatre. She brought 127 to a theatre in England to watch 101 Dalmatians. She had a desire to bring more than that. She hoped to bring 200, but she was able to settle with 127. The last world record was set at 120 dogs in 2019, and these dogs saw the Secret Life of Pets 2

In Italy, a group of chefs came together to build the largest cannoli and break the world record. In fact, they were able to break the record, making the cannoli 70 feet and 3.7 inches long. The cannoli was filled with 1 thousand 500 pounds of ricotta. The previous record was a cannoli up to 16 feet long.
