Need something to watch over spring break? Why not watch one of these top ten MCU movies ranked by interest.

10. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

This movie made it to the top ten sheerly because of its jokes. The amount of humor that is in this movie is why it is at number 10. The collaboration of Peter Quill, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax make up a hilarious feat as they work together to save a planet from destruction by the main antagonist Ronan the Accuser.

9. Iron Man (2008)

This movie is number nine on the list because it portrays a very stuck-up and rich Tony Stark who loses it all very early in the movie. After he almost dies and saved by a comrade, he learns that he is very vulnerable and human, and it humbles him to a certain degree. It also tells Stark that his weaponry is also being used for more than just war. It is being used for evil.

8. The Avengers (2012)

This movie is number 8 on the list because even though every member of the original team of Avengers are different, they band together to fight the main villain, mainly because of the death of one crucial character: Agent Coulson. Under the slogan, “Earth’s mightiest heroes”, they band together to defeat Loki’s army.

7. Doctor Strange (2016)

This movie is number seven on my list partly because Doctor Strange is one of my favorite characters, but mainly because this movie was an amazing establishment to the MCU, and the Avengers as a whole. Fans had been waiting for Doctor Strange to appear in the MCU for eight years beforehand. It provides the backstory of a character that plays a big role in progressing the story of the MCU.

6. Black Panther (2018)

When Black Panther first appeared in the 2016 Captain America: Civil War, fans became extremely ecstatic, and begged for a movie for him. Now that he has a movie, it is widely popular portraying the beloved actor Chadwick Boseman. After Boseman’s death a few years later, the movie and the actor became even more popular, and is now a high grossing movie.

5. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

This movie is spectacular in many ways. It shows the audience that even with a brilliant mind such as Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, the team, and the world can still be vulnerable. Even though they eventually defeat a country and almost take a whole country with it, the avengers are still victorious, nonetheless. Because of the damage caused, the world begins to hate the avengers.

4. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2013)

This is number four on my list because I love several scenes in this movie. It goes more in depth of Hydra’s return, and the reunion of two long lost friends during the dreaded World War II. We are introduced to a new reality of Bucky Barnes – Codename Winter Soldier and his brainwashed service to Hydra. The only trio that stands in the way of Hydra’s global domination is Captain America, Black Widow, and the Falcon.

3. Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Avengers Endgame is probably everyone’s favorite avengers movie, and it is definitely my favorite. The real thrill of having everyone back together in a final battle against the evil mad titan himself was amazing to watch. Marvel proved to the world that if you give the fans what they want, you will become more successful than ever before. This movie ended stories for many characters and completely disbanded the avengers.

2. Spiderman: No Way Home (2022)

This movie is exactly what all marvel fans have wanted for years. It brought the return of not only Tom Holland’s spiderman, but Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s spidermans as well. In the final battle, they were an epic team. The movie is one of the top grossing marvel of all time, and has been nominated for an Academy Award in its first month since release.

1. Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Ah, finally we are at number one! This is my favorite movie for multiple reasons. First, I love the jokes and the memes that the fanbase has laughed at and created. Second, the acting is spot-on. There are not many actors who can say the lines they say and keep a straight face. Third, we finally have the return the Hulk after around two years. We finally find out where he went after Ultron and the Battle for Sokovia. We also get to see Loki once again, and a new character whose race was thought to have been wiped out.
