Find quiet on campus: NGU’s subtle study spots

College life is filled with tests, assignments and exams. It can be hard to find time to juggle it all, and finding a place to study or do homework can be even harder. The world around us is full of distractions that can keep us from focusing on the tasks at hand.
No need to worry, Crusaders: the North Greenville campus has multiple study spots that you may haven’t thought about. To help you envision using these places, I took my friends Rylee Merrill, Camden Howell, Savannah Williamson, freshmen, and Ashley Rosa, senior, out on an adventure to show just how useful these peaceful spots can be.

Rosa is taking some time to update her bullet journal next to this quiet pond. If you need some peace and quiet, this small nook, located in between the chapel building and the music building, is the place to go.
Howell is sitting in the gazebo looking on his computer. The gazebo can be seen right as you come in the main entrance, and works great to sit in some shade.
Merrill studies her notes as the water is rushing behind. There many benches in this area on campus. If you like the sound of flowing water and being in nature, then try this spot next time you study.
Rosa is seen reading and highlighting her book on a comfy couch. This room is located in the Billingsley Theatre, and is the perfect inside spot to finish assignments.
