COVID-19: a weekly surveillance | Jan. 12

Above are the updated numbers surrounding COVID-19 cases within our NGU community. We hope everyone will continue to keep up the good work as we strive to keep our campus safe throughout the entirety of this semester and school year.

Face-coverings are currently required in all classrooms where at the discretion of the instructor social distancing (minimum of six feet between persons) is not feasible and in all large indoor gatherings of 50 or more. Exceptions to this protocol require prior approval. The use of face-coverings and social distancing is strongly encouraged in all other indoor settings.

Because the Omicron variant is easily transmittable, the COVID-19 Response Team encourages the NGU community to continue to wear face-coverings, observe physical distancing and practice good hygiene into the holiday weekend.
