When it comes to her photography, Sydney Hickert is better known as Sydney Jane, a college student who has turned her hobby into her business.
Sydney got her start in photography as an assistant but soon realized that her true passion was to be behind the camera.
Almost three years later, Sydney has shot over 30 weddings and is making a name for Sydney Jane Photography.
With each couple and each wedding she shoots, Sydney says it is less about the image and more about the moment that is captured. Through her own struggles of moving numerous times as a child, Sydney found that being able to look back at pictures and remember the moment was a gift she will always treasure.
Although each weekend is spent shooting weddings, Sydney knows that come Monday, it is time to put down the camera and be a student again.
