Fast Food Twitter Feuds
Ariona Imel, Staff Writer
The “twitter feud” that goes on between fast food restaurants seems to ramp up every year. Usually it’s about the others food; whether they copied some idea or whose chicken sandwich is the best. Some of us may be familiar with Wendy’s sassy, no chill tweets against McDonalds’ beef or Popeyes competing with Chick-fil-a for the best chicken sandwich. Viral marketing scheme or not, it is pretty entertaining to watch these pokes and jabs. Here are a few examples of some of the tweets these fast food accounts tweet out to each other.
Wendy’s takes a jab at McDonald’s frozen beef. It seems like McDonald’s is trying to make their burgers with more fresh beef, rather than frozen. Doesn’t look like Wendy’s is falling for it though.

Wendy’s twitter spared no time in needling McDonald’s twitter error. Will McDonald’s ice cream machine ever not be broken?
Jimmy John’s was quick on the comeback for Wendy’s being skeptical towards their #KissAGingerDay.
Again, Wendy’s is back at it with their quick and snarky tweets. Seems this twitter user was asking for this snarky response.
Here’s a more recent feud between Chick-fil-A and Popeyes with their chicken sandwiches. Chick-fil-A coming at Popeyes for running out of their chicken sandwiches and Popeyes with the comeback on Chick-fil-A not being open on Sunday.
