Don’t quote me on that

This week I went around campus asking teachers and students what their favorite quote was. These are their answers!
Doctor Becky Thompson shared a quote from Emily Dickinson. “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the sole.”
Over his lunch Senior John Mark Haase shared a quote from Aristotle. “Worthless people live only to eat and drink; people of worth eat and drink only to live.”
Junior Aidan Toomey like any real Christian Studies major shared a quote from Martin Luther that reads, “I shall never be a heretic; I may err in dispute, but I do not wish to decide anything finally; on the other hand, I am not bound by the opinions of men.”
Freshman Andrew Zimmerman shared a quote by Dr. Seuss: “Be who you are, and be who you feel because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”
Freshman Sarah Ray Burrell shared another quote by Dr. Seuss, “You have to be odd to be number one.”
Dr. Curtis Horn shared a bit of scripture (surprise, surprise), “I and my father are one” John 10:30
One of my personal favorites is from Emily Dickinson “Saying nothing … sometimes says the most.”
