Archive Dive – Homecoming through the Years

This week’s Archive Dive will be a look back through the past four decades of Homecoming Queens and events once again recognizing the lovely ladies that represent North Greenville University and the fun times on our wonderful campus.
1979-1980
Way back when the school was still North Greenville College, the ’79-’80 school year held their homecoming in the spring semester, January 23 – 25. The festivities were began with a talent show and ended that Friday night with Miss Paula Davis being crowned the Homecoming Queen.
1989-1990
North Greenville College crowned Michele McDonald the ’89-’90 Homecoming Queen.
1999-2000
This year’s Homecoming Queen was Miss Hannah Lynch.
2009-2010
The homecoming theme for this year was the Peanuts with student organizations competing throughout the week with students competing in who had the best Peanuts costume or which student was able to wear the most red with some students going for it in red face paint, red mohawks and someone even dressing their dog in red. This year’s Homecoming Queen was Miss Katie Potter.
2019-2020
